Blue Reef unveils the first motor yacht of the range - the BLUE REEF 87
Established in June 2009, BLUEREEF, made its first official appearance at the Cannes International Boat Show in September 2009. The company has announced a strategic partnership between CDR Yachting and Sunreef Yachts with the mission of creating a range of medium-sized 65 to 95 foot power boats for those true sea lovers who wish to cruise aboard in their own boats and discover the hidden beauty of the sea which is otherwise inaccessible. These functional, ergonomic and technically reliable yachts will have reduced fuel consumption by 30%, compared to other yachts of a similar size. The first one from the range is the Blue Reef 87 due for launching in the 2010/2011 winter season. The yacht will have compact exteriors whilst retaining the impression of internal space equalling that of 100 foot yachts. In addition, the BlueReef 87 is the perfect choice for the Mediterranean Sea or any other sea with limited space in marinas and many small picturesque ports where huge superyachts cannot be accommodated. Finished according to the customer’s wishes, the Bluereef 87 will accommodate 8 guests in one huge beam-wide owner suit and three spacious guest cabins, all en-suite, attended by 2-4 crew members. On the main level the yacht will have a large salon, dining room, day kitchenette and the owner’s suite. The lower decks will house three guest cabins and crew quarters with a galley and lots of storage space. On the exterior, guests will be able to enjoy either the shady cockpit with a dining area, or the sunny flybridge with a helm station, dining table and leisure area and a cocktail area on the bow. Various layouts are available to choose from.
